FOREIGN BUYERS

While considering what are Strategic Assets in a previous blog, the point was raised about squeezing out American buyers by letting foreign buyers buy up American resources. This must be banned. Buying up American farmland is one such evil. Do we have the lawful means to force foreign owners to plant crops or raise cattle? Foreign investors are loyal to their nation’s policies, which may include starving America. They could just let their land sit idle or ship the crops back home no matter how much we need them here. The entire food chain should be owned by Americans only. Food processing plants, farmland, fishing boats, fertilizer sources here at home.

If you have qualms about these bans or restrictions, just research how foreign governments have nationalized (stolen) our investments overseas, or restricted our right to buy their lands or factories. Not everywhere, but it is an increasing trend.
